On the embroidery machine:

Using fusible applique, the Iron applique block stitches out fast. The block is finished with a simple pieced border.

The Iron applique has 16 steps, 3 colours, 4 thread changes (7×7 and 6×6 sizes), and 11 steps, 3 colours, 4 thread changes (5×5 and 4×4 sizes). Check the chart in the images for stitch counts and overall dimensions.

Traditional method:

The PDF pattern includes full size templates and instructions for fusible machine applique. The design measures approx 7″ x 7″ overall. To make a smaller or larger Iron design simply scale your template pieces before printing. Find out how

Both versions:

The pieced border is added on your sewing machine and the completed block finishes at 12.5″ x 12.5″ including seam allowances.
