Optional applique steps
The first two steps applique a circle of dark fabric which will show as the night sky. If you’re embroidering onto a dark fabric you could skip the applique steps and go straight onto the embroidery.
Mylar visor: you could use a scrap of mylar film to make the visor and omit the embroidered reflection and star. You’d need to place it before step 4. Print the template to help with placing the mylar. The embroidery step 4 will stitch the mylar down.
