Using fusible applique, the Tape Measure block stitches out fast. The block is finished with a simple pieced border.

The tape measure applique has 11 steps, 3 colours, 4 thread changes. Check the chart in the images for stitch counts and overall dimensions.

Traditional method:

The PDF pattern includes full size templates and instructions for fusible machine applique. The design measures approx 7″ x 7″ overall. To make a smaller or larger applique simply scale your template pieces before printing. Find out how

The pieced border is added on your sewing machine and the completed block finishes at 12.5″ x 12.5″ including seam allowances.
