Still Life with Pear quilt block pattern

Still Life with Pear is the free quilt block pattern for May 2026. It’s part of the Quilt Block Mania collection and the theme designers are working to this month is Art.

Still Life is a bold design with mid-century modern vibes and it’s perfect for a strong colour palette. Or a monochrome version, maybe blue and white? It would have the look of a hand print.

I made my quilt block into a cushion, but it would be cool as wall art (add a frame), or on a bag.

Still Life with Pear comes in two sizes, 12″x12″ and 15″ x15″.

It has a few small pieces and several sections, so you might want to have a little FPP experience before you tackle it, but there’s nothing tricky about it at all.
